About Me
In case you hadn’t guessed my name is Daniel Blackburn. It would’ve been a strange domain name to go for if that wasn’t my name. I’ll get round to posting a biography/CV at some point but in there mean time here is a brief bit of info about me.
I was born in Beverley, East Yorkshire on the second day of 1976. I grew up in Willerby in the suburbs of the much maligned Hull. I had a great time there but I’m probably not the best person to ask as I did spend quite large amounts of time indoors on computers or playing games. In 1994 I moved to Huddersfield to do a degree in computer science as luckily for me games design courses didn’t exist yet. I never finished my degree but did manage to fulfil my aim of getting a job in the games industry. I’ve lived and worked in Huddersfield ever since and shared the last 11 years with Lisa, who I love very much. We’ve just bought a cave in Andalucia together and once the several tonnes of goat crap have been cleared out and maybe a few other bits tidied up (like installing Water and Electric) we’re looking forward to spending some time out there.
